I became a coach to help people improve their quality of life, manage their challenges and build a fruitful and happy future. I offer a spectrum of personal coaching services that allows me to work with each individual as a complete and complex human being. The links below give an idea of the coaching areas I work in. Health and Well-Being Coaching

I can support your transformation into a healthier, more energetic and joyful you so that you are able to live life to the fullest.

I work with people learning to navigate the health and wellbeing challenges arising from ageing, and with women who have achieved professional success yet are feeling overwhelmed, stuck and unfulfilled.

I am passionate about maintaining health, stamina and joy as we move into and within our “seasoned” years. I believe we can learn to manage and navigate ageing with grace and live a purposeful and happy life.

As a former “rat race” participant, I understand and relate to the feeling many women experience when trying to balance non-negotiable priorities while running on empty and with no time for self.

I will partner with you to co-create your vision of a healthiest, peaceful, more energetic and joyful self. Your vision may include: 
  • achieving and sustaining a healthy weight
  • creating or optimizing an exercise regime
  • toning your muscles
  • learning relaxation techniques
  • improving your eating habits, or
  • anything else affecting your overall health and wellness.
I am here to work with you and support you in transforming yourself into a better you. I will guide our work by using a proven system and evidence-based tools to facilitate change. We will work with science-backed strategies to actively and safely support you in raising your awareness and creating healthy and sustainable behaviour changes.

FIRST, we clarify what areas of your health and wellbeing need attention. We will look at:

SECOND, we decide what to prioritize and work on.

In a series of one-on-one sessions, we will attend to:

  1. Formulating your vision of a healthier, more joyful and balanced you to guide the work forward
  2. Prioritizing what areas to work on first, and
  3. Setting specific goals and/or a direction for the desired changes

THIRD, we take action and move towards your desired outcome while enabling sustainable and healthy changes.

This phase includes:

  • Building systems and processes that will support relevant changes
  • Identifying and implementing concrete steps to move forward
    Creating and practicing a philosophy of conscious and purposeful living
  • Identifying habits and patterns that need to be changed
  • Helping you get “unstuck”: looking at all those habits and routines you know need to be adjusted, and having an actionable plan for change (e.g. lose weight, exercise more, drink less alcohol, eat a balanced diet, meditate)
  • Reviewing nutrition and lifestyle patterns and supporting modifications to improve overall wellness
  • Providing specific suggestions and support to initiate or improve physical activities as needed

Navigating Transitions

I work with people transitioning to retirement or pre-retirement, empty nesters adapting to their new reality, people moving communities, and those facing a change in relationship status.

I can help you navigate the overwhelm and storm brought on by transitions in your life, allowing you to move to a better place and in the direction of your choice.

Life is an ongoing dance of changes and choices, of things we make happen and things that come at us completely out of the blue. Whether suddenly or over time, we are always in a process of transition and adaptation.

A transition can disrupt the flow of your life, bringing uncertainty and a feeling of “in between” – or it can be overwhelming and devastating. But transitions can also be opportunities for honest self-assessment, good choices, new directions and an improved life.

The way you manage your transition will shape what your life will become.

I use a proven model and evidence-based tools to facilitate change, as well as science-backed strategies to actively and safely support you in raising your awareness and creating desirable and sustainable change.

FIRST, we build an honest understanding of your situation, and meet you where you are.

This phase includes:

  • Identifying and acknowledging what is still tying you to your previous situation, and how to deal with it
  • Understanding your habits, thought patterns and beliefs that are connected to your previous role or situation – which may cause resistance to change or movement
  • Helping you to say goodbye, accepting and letting go of what you need to leave behind
  • Raising your awareness about the adaptation and coping mechanisms you may already have in place
  • Doing an inventory of the strengths, skills and experiences you are taking with you as you move forward
  • Encouraging you to discover and explore opportunities that are now open because of your current period of transition

SECOND, we envision what is possible, your new beginnings and direction. A time of transition is an opportunity to imagine and re-write your story.

In a series of one-on-one sessions, we will work on:

  • Formulating a holistic vision of the life you want to build in the near and distant future
  • Identifying your passions, values, strengths and core beliefs, and incorporating them into your vision
  • Assessing your challenges and circumstances, and how they affect your path forward
  • Tapping into your potential and identifying opportunities
  • Looking at the overall picture and deciding the direction you want to move towards, exploring your options and defining your new pathway
  • Identifying what is required to build your vision in the short and longer term
  • Agreeing on an overall structure to work with, including priorities for the present and beyond

THIRD, we take action and navigate in your chosen direction towards your desired outcome. We will do this by:
  • Formulating a specific plan of action tailored to your current situation and vision of your future
  • Identifying the practical steps that are needed to deal with immediate issues, prioritizing them, and getting them done
  • Practicing self care. I will support you holistically using methods drawn from Health and Wellbeing Coaching
  • Understanding and defining necessary life adjustments
  • Setting new routines to facilitate acceptance, change and renewal
  • Checking regularly on new learnings and opportunities as you move forward, and incorporating them into your vision and plans

You will take with you a system tailored to your needs that you can use to set and sustain meaningful behaviour changes.
